Prime Armor’s III+ (Model MODEL 1422) is a lightweight, multi curve with only a 1 ’’ thick rifle plate designed to withstand rugged usage without compromising the ballistic capability of the plate. Multi-hit tested by an NIJ-certified laboratory and can defeat m855 (green tip), and up to 7.62×39 (M47), 7.62×39 (M67 and M43), .308 (M80) and lesser threats! The plate has been designed and manufactured extremely strong, will withstand multiple hits, and is still very lightweight (4.7lbs). This is why our plate is multi-hit capable and a much safer option than other body armor plates.
