The ARCH helmet begin life in Switzerland as raw Kevlar fibers from DuPont. They are converted to Aramid layers by Europes’ premier textiles research and innovation center Saati S.p.A. in Italy before pressing into the shell we know and trust.
We use a proprietary pre-preg lamination process which allows us to make a multi-hit ballistic helmet that is extremely durable at a lower weight.
The ARCH helmet weighs only L(2.97 lbs), XL(3.06 lbs) for the complete helmet system. This makes the ARCH helmet, one of the lightest aramid ballistic helmets on the market. The superior weight-to-protection ratio allows for a greater mobility during use without sacrificing the ballistic performance.

It can be used in a low profile plate carrier or Law Enforcement Duty Vest. It’s a great option for both males and females as its anatomic curvature serves to provide best comfortability and protection from small to medium size rifle ammunition, even against armor penetrator options.

Since this plate is multi-hit rated you can expect it to protect you from 9mm to .308 (7.62×51) including M855 rounds. Backface deformation is a very important factor that everyone should know about because even if a bullet does not penetrate the plate, you will still feel the kinetic energy and can still cause bodily damage or harm on impact. Keep in mind that we test all of our armor to the maximum standards or so-called “worst case scenario” situation and BFD (backface deformation) on model is highly common as with any other different body armor. This is why we offer an additional IIIA soft armor plate as a backer which can be inserted separately in our Prime Warrior Plate Carrier 3.0.
